Why do we do what we do?

A real brand is like a real person. Authentic, trustworthy and ideally likeable.
Even better: employees and customers should be so enthusiastic about 'their' brand that they commit to it wholeheartedly and even defend it against attacks.

That's why we stage brands and make them tangible with all senses.
With all our heart.

And we have been doing this since 1992.

Carsten Schroeter

Carsten Schroeter the brain behind Distinctive Me comes from a family where, from his great-grandparents to his parents and siblings, everyone was an entrepreneur following own convictions and talents. They have gone their own ways and have always taken responsibility for their actions. In a way, the unifying element, the common view in their completely different uniqueness.

At the age of 25, Carsten Schroeter founded his first company together with a sandbox friend and successfully sold it after ten years.

In 1996 he started working as a consultant and coach for international DAX corporations (car manufacturers, airlines, precious metal processing companies, banks). He assists in the development and implementation of brand strategies, especially against the background of international cultural differences.

Since 2001 he has also worked as a systemic coach and mentor in the areas of personality development, negotiation psychology and training didactics.

At the same time, together with air-conditioning technicians and IT specialists, he developed an air-conditioned humidor under the brand name Reposo, the technology of which was patented.
Both the construction and the brand positioning of this high-end product proved to be an enormous challenge, as there were no comparable products on the market.

2014-2019, Reposo was included as a unique exhibit in the Handmade World Tour, an exhibition that showcases selected German craftsmanship around the world.

A year later, Metrica, a renowned yacht design company, took over the Reposo brand and its product technology to integrate it into luxury residences and private yachts.

He has four grown-up children and lives with his partner in Illes de Balears.
